keep your immunity strong with this delicious + warming soup
ingredients
3 cups dark leafy greens (ex. baby spinach, kale, or swiss chard)
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp fresh ginger, sliced
¼ tsp organic cayenne pepper
¼ tsp organic ground turmeric
¼ tsp wasabi powder (optional)
1 tbsp probiotic super greens with turmeric
1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
½ cup coconut milk
pinch of salt
black pepper to taste
squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice
garnish
¼ cup organic greek yogurt, thinned with milk to drizzling consistency
broccoli florets, lightly steamed
sunflower seeds or chia seeds sprinkled on top
method
Put ingredients, except those for the garnish, into a high speed blender. Combine the
Blend until smooth and steaming hot. If using regular blender or food processor, once blended, heat soup briefly on the stove (this preserves all nutrients)
Pour into bowl and garnish with broccoli florest, a swirl of greek yogurt and chia seeds
for a vegan alternative, use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth
