Kuri squash are a small to medium sized winter squash with a hard, orange skin that can be used in all kinds of sweet and savory recipes, like soups, casseroles, and curries, as well as muffins, quick breads and tarts. Its sweet, nutty flavor is what gives it its name, as the word "kuri" is the Japanese word for chestnut. This product currently comes from a True Local supplier.
