Made just south of Dublin, Wexford Cheddar is a mature, twelve-month cheddar perfect for serving with brown bread and chutney. Wexford Creamery was set up in 1959 by a group of local Wexford dairy farmers and businessmen and produces delicious cheese, cream, and milk. Due to the richness of the milk, this cheese still keeps a buttery flavor once it comes out of the Wexford aging rooms. Enjoy Wexford Mature Cheddar with a pint of good Irish ale, or a crisp glass of white wine. Sharp Irish Cheddar aged at least one year.
